Have been an Anthem BC member at with same employer for over 17 years.
I clearly entered my name, DOB, and exact member number.
The app was unable, after NUMEROUS tries, to identify me as a current member. I even tried leaving off the standard first three digits (XGT) that precede the actual numeric digits ( similar to how the providers offices request it). Still no good.
The app suggests calling BC. If I were to do that, and stay in hold forever (as always) then what is the purpose of the app in the first place? None. There isnt one.
Save your time and frustration and skipped this poorly developed, poorly interconnected app.
We are all simply doomed to be placed on hold regardless of the simplicity of our inquiries.
